If you press the on/off button and hold it for a few seconds, it puts the speaker to sleep and doesn't run the battery down while parked for a week. Also be sure you keep the software updated by using the app because Bose recently made some changes to how much power is used in standby mode. You can thank me later.

After 6 months with the Momentum 4's, I have to say this: I own 4 senny headphones (HD1, HD660S2, HD800, and the Mo 4), the Mo 4's are trash. Pure and simple. Yes they had amazing (for Bluetooth) sound quality but they had major issues staying connected, the ANC sucks (turn your head and you get all kinds of unexpected sound effects), you can't turn off ANC, they sound god-awful if you try to use them as passive wired cans, and now, worst of all, they have started to crackle like bad speakers with damaged cones when you play anything beyond half volume. Don't expect any help from customer service...there is no customer service. I'm a huge Sennheiser fan (obviously), and no other brand can touch them for sound quality in their various price ranges, but these are so bad I just tossed them out the window of my truck at 60 mph. If sound quality is your main concern, get a pair of Focal Bathys (yeah, I know. S**tload of money, but they are available used on ebay). They do everything you wish the Mo's would do and as a bonus, sound even better.

Why is it so difficult for "professional" youtube reviewers to cover actual details about these speakers rather than just overall db and how much perceived bass they put out? Why not run an actual frequency sweep on them and see how low they actually play? Are they stereo? We dont know because you dont bother to tell us. JBL has always filled the party speaker niche and Sony actually cares about their overall sound profile. Its obvious if you lusten to the two of them. And in case anyone is searching...the Sony ULT 7 is a stereo speaker with a proper left and right channel. This isnt too much to ask of a review, do you think?

the automatic turn on and off function after assembly does not work, factory reset from the application and reset of holding the volume up button for 20 seconds did not help. I can turn the headphones off with the glowing button, but then they only turn on when I plug in the USB C cable, which means I apply some current. do you know the solution?

A update will come in about 6 Weeks. With this you can connect the 320 also to old speakers like 310 wireless .

btw, encore is one of the best on the market of jbl (popularity and price/performance rate) gotta say that you have to try the encore for yourself.

i have tested it and i will say for SURE that the encore essential or encore has more bass. 110 IS louder, yes, because its needed for the outside in large places.the encore gets more than 3 hours for playtime but still has not too much. the encore also has more and clear sounding bass than the boombox 3. ofcourse the boombox 3 looks better in most peoples eyes and has way more playtime, but it still is less good sounding than encore. encore essential has no output, but i believe the encore version has it, because of the mic that comes with it. only makes sense that it has an aux output.

For me JBL is garbage becuase it doesn't sound surround like Bose. I have the Bose Portable Smart Speaker and my cousin has the Xtreme 3 and the Bose is way better. The Bose sounds like your in a movie theater while JBL sounds like a regular speaker. We played the same music and our family members said the Bose sounds better.

4 years into ownership of these, very light use, only at home and the ear cups completely disintegrated. This is way too little lifetime.
